Archana Pandit is the Founder of Delight Schools, an independent private school offering a blended educational model from Preschool through 8th grade. With formal Montessori certifications in both Primary and Elementary education, along with extensive child development credentials, Archana brings over two decades of experience in early childhood and K–8 education.

Her career in education began long before founding her school. After completing a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, Archana pursued a master’s degree in computer management. During that time, she served on the teaching team at CDAC in India, where she trained both children and government officials in computer literacy at a time when computers were newly introduced. This early teaching experience solidified her lifelong passion for education.

Beyond academics, Archana is passionate about cultural arts. She has trained in Indian folk dance and plays the Indian string instrument “Sitar,” bringing creativity, cultural awareness, and discipline into her educational approach.

In 2008, Archana established her first preschool. From 2008 to 2021, early childhood education remained her central focus. As a mother of three who experienced both public and private school systems, she envisioned a program that bridges Montessori’s hands-on, concrete foundation with the rigor and structure of traditional academics. This vision shaped the unique blended curriculum now central to Delight Schools.

Under her leadership, students begin their journey in a nurturing Montessori environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and concrete exploration. As they progress into Emergent Kindergarten and beyond, they transition into a balanced academic model that integrates Montessori methods with strong traditional learning. Archana strongly believes that children have extraordinary potential; therefore, Delight Schools introduces foreign languages, music, robotics, and sports from early ages to cultivate well-rounded development.

Starting Fall 2025, Delight Schools expanded to include a full Middle School program, offering a strong academic pathway with an emphasis on advanced mathematics, multiple foreign languages, and rigorous science coursework. This extension supports students as they shift from foundational learning to higher-level abstract thinking, fully preparing them for high school and beyond.

A core pillar of Archana’s philosophy is the importance of personal connection in education. She believes that in today’s fast-growing world of AI and technology, maintaining a genuine personal touch is essential. This sense of warmth and belonging is what transforms learning into a delightful experience, one where students feel seen, supported, and inspired.

Today, Archana continues to lead Delight Schools with the mission of creating purposeful, child-centered learning experiences that empower students to grow, explore, and excel with confidence and joy.
